Punta's SK Night Turns Up the Heat with Hip-hop Dance Contest

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Punta, San Remigio, Cebu  capped its SK Night with a lively Hip-hop Dance Contest on August 13, drawing a crowd of Puntahanons who came out to cheer for the competing dance crews. The event was organized by the SK of Punta, headed by Leoji Peloramas Pestaño , together with the PYAP AKO Punta Chapter under Mikela Marie Bohol. Robbery Suspect Arrested in Bogo City After Hot Pursuit Operation

Bogo City police have arrested a man tagged as the suspect in a string of crimes across two barangays , including the stabbing of two senior citizens and a robbery, following a thorough investigation and a successful hot pursuit operation . The San Remigio Youth Leaders Camp 2026 , carrying the theme " Bagani ," opened on Thursday, August 6, at Orongan Beach Resort , drawing young leaders from across the municipality for three days of training, fellowship, and friendly competition. Barangay Cogon in Bogo City is gearing up for one of its biggest weeks of the year. In honor of its patron, Señor San Roque , the barangay celebrates its fiesta from August 7 to 16, 2026, with a full run of nights that has something for just about everyone, whether you are there for the food, the dancing, or the show. Things kick off on August 7 with the Opening Salvo and Mayor's Nite at the Barangay Cogon Covered Court, starting at 8PM. Run for Faith 2026: A Fun Run to Rebuild the San Vicente Ferrer Shrine

Lace up your running shoes, Bogohanons . On August 29, 2026, the community comes together for " Run for Faith: Rebuild for Tomorrow ," a fun run for a cause at the Bogo City Amphitheater . The event marks the launching of the Archdiocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer (ASSVF) church reconstruction, and it also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the shrine's elevation as an Archdiocesan Shrine. Barangay Punta Fiesta 2026: Four Nights of Color, Music, and Faith for San Roque

Barangay Punta in San Remigio, Cebu is getting ready for its biggest week of the year. From August 13 to 16, 2026, the barangay celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of its patron saint, Señor San Roque , with four straight days of dancing, running, music, and prayer. San Remigio Council Authorizes Mayor to Issue Cockfighting Permits During Barangay Fiestas

The Sangguniang Bayan of San Remigio, Cebu has authorized Municipal Mayor Hon. Mariano Martinez to issue special permits for cockfighting activities during barangay fiesta celebrations across the town. The council passed Resolution No. 269-2026 during its 40th Regular Session on July 14, 2026, held at the temporary session hall of the Municipal Hall Building in Poblacion, with Vice Mayor Hon. Alphonsine Corominas-Gonzales presiding.
