For its “ultimate contribution to the attainment of desirable socio–economic and environmental outcome” the Philippine Councilors League–Cebu Provincial Federation together with the Department of Interior and Local Government presented to the Bogo City Council the Local Legislative Award as winner in the Provincial Level for the component city category. The award recognizes the exemplary performance of sanggunians, particularly of cities and municipalities, for legislating measures that help build the foundation of meaningful local administration and development. The award criteria includes eff ectiveness of the Legislative Agenda and the legislative tracking system, availability of legislative documents, efficiency of performance of the sanggunian, and quality of office set-up and staff complement. ...
